JOY, Inc. (Just Older Youth, Inc.) is a nonprofit organization in the Upper Keys dedicated to creating a community center that expands and improves the life experiences of adults in the Upper Keys. This center provides a venue to develop new friendships and deepen old friendships.
We are a welcoming, vibrant center for a thriving community. Our programs and services sharpen the mind, improve physical and emotional wellbeing, and empower seniors to remain active, independent assets within our community!
JOY Center Activities
Each week, JOY Inc. presents the JOY Center, a free program of courses and activities designed for lifelong learners. The original JOY Center explored the community’s interests in senior activities and programming. Now in our 6th year, the JOY Center continues to bring people together for lifelong learning, social connection and enrichment.
JOY Center classes have covered topics such as: Food – Science – Body – Art – Wellness – Literature – Mind – Movies – Games – Languages – Relationships – Nature – Spirit – Movement – Social – Health – Music.
The JOY Center is always looking for new classes to offer. If there is something you would like to learn, a skill or knowledge you would like to share, we welcome your ideas
